Maria Amor is a fine artist: an oil painter with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree and extended study at Manhattan’s Art Students League of New York. Maria’s work has been included in various exhibitions in New York City and attended the Art Students League of New York. She founded a program “The Painting Gypsies” - which was included in a National Geographic book titled " the 100 Best Enrichment Vacations Worldwide”. She now teaches privately, or small groups. Her classes include learning skills such as value, color, perspective and composition, drawing with charcoal, pencil and pastel, and oil painting and watercolor.
The promotion of art and creativity with the aim of improving happiness and a sense of well being is her consistent mission. Making of art is always a special occasion for the sprit. Her related work includes art therapy for children, private teaching and entrepreneurial projects near her current home in New York’s Hudson Valley.a long time
